Epilepsy Intervention Program

Transforming Lives Through Comprehensive Care

The Hecami Foundation’s Epilepsy Intervention Program provides holistic support to people living with epilepsy and related mental health conditions. Recognizing that epilepsy rarely exists in isolation, we address the full spectrum of challenges our community members face—from medical care to psychological support to economic empowerment.

What We Offer

Free Medical Consultation & Treatment Every first Saturday of the month, our clinic provides free neurological consultations and epilepsy medications to those who need them most. We ensure that access to treatment is never limited by financial hardship.

Comprehensive Mental Health Care Epilepsy often co-occurs with other psychological and psychiatric conditions. Our program treats depression, psychotic disorders, postpartum psychosis, and substance use disorders—recognizing that managing epilepsy requires addressing the whole person.

Psychosocial Support & Outreach Beyond the clinic, our team conducts regular psychosocial support outreaches that deliver essential items donated by compassionate volunteers. These visits provide counseling, encouragement, and practical assistance to people in their own communities.

Socioeconomic Empowerment: We believe that recovery and dignity require more than just medicine. We equip individuals with skills training and livelihood support designed to restore their social and occupational productivity. Our goal is to help people with epilepsy not just survive, but thrive—fulfilling their potential as valued members of their communities.

A Monthly Commitment to Care

Led by our dedicated clinical team, this program operates with unwavering consistency. Every first Saturday of the month, we open our doors to provide free, judgment-free care to anyone living with epilepsy—regardless of their ability to pay.

Epilepsy doesn’t define a person’s worth or potential. Through comprehensive care and genuine community support, we help people reclaim their lives.
